CocoPastrami, the ready-to-cook chicken specialities, part of the Cocorico Original range, have been selected in the INNOVATIVE products section of the SIAL INNOVATION AWARDS 2022 competition at the largest international food industry trade fair, SIAL PARIS, with over 7,000 exhibitors and 400,000 products on display.
With a concept that focuses on consumers’ need to be as practical as possible in the kitchen without sacrificing healthy meals, great taste and a packaging design that easily stands out, the CocoPastrami range has been recognised as one of the most remarkable innovations in the food industry.
Under the title “Decoding tomorrow’s menu”, the jury – made up of food experts, journalists and SIAL representatives – had to choose from a total of 1800 products entered in the competition, from which they selected 462 innovations. The selection of the CocoPastrami range as an INNOVATIVE product is therefore not only a testament to the quality of our products, but also places us among the top voices in the world.
“SIAL Innovations is a highly anticipated event as it provides a unique showcase through which we can discover both current global food trends and preview the innovations we are sure to see on supermarket shelves and on consumers’ plates. This year’s awards are all the more important as they showcase innovations developed by food industry stakeholders to meet new market demands. During the fair, from 15 to 19 October 2022, the winning products have been displayed in a dedicated area of the SIAL Paris exhibition, and this gallery of food innovations will then travel the globe to appear at other major fairs in Canada, China, USA, India, Jakarta and the Middle East.

CocoPastrami are carefully developed products made from fresh Cocorico chicken meat, marinated only with natural seasonings and naturally smoked with beechwood. The CocoPastrami line-up includes chicken breast, drum-sticks, thighs and wings, and can be eaten at any time of the day as an appetizer, in salads or sandwiches. CocoPastrami are part of the Cocorico Original range, which also includes Cocorici, delicious chicken specialities, which can be consumed out of the pack, or boiled / grilled, and CocoBaked – ready baked, delicious chicken!
