We love Henderson’s warm and personal touch — after all, she first got her start hosting intimate dinners on the grounds of her own home, as well as running her company Lavender Farms Catering LA. Her attention to local and seasonal produce at Malibu Farm Pier Cafe and Restaurant is highlighted in the book with charming veggie dishes and savoury seaside meals. We also couldn’t help but eavesdrop on her lovely stories and experiences as a farmer, caterer, personal chef and restaurant owner in SoCal.
